Inside the house you’ll find a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious dining / living room area, two full baths, satellite television, heating/air conditioning and comfortable sleeping accommodations for 8 adults.  Relax outside on the front porch or enjoy a barbequed meal and quiet respite on the side patio. 

While hiking the fields and woods of The Rock, or the 2 mile trail at the Whipple State Nature Preserve located across the road, you will have the opportunity to observe and photograph an abundance of nature.  The Ohio River and nearby Brush Creek will afford you the opportunity to take in some fishing or leisurely boating.  Deer bowhunting packages are also available at The Rock.  Whether you choose a 3, 4 or 5 day hunt, you will be set up in an active game area and assisted with retrieving your trophy.  In addition to hunting privileges these packages also include lodging and meals.

A bonus attraction for train enthusiasts and the “kid in all of us” is a 1940 Norfolk & Western caboose which has been moved onto the property.  After doing thorough research and visiting other restored cabooses the hope is to restore this caboose to its original condition while adding some modern amenities to accommodate today’s visitors
